Countless women and children in Sudan and South Sudan are victims of modern-day slavery.
Children and women are exploited through modern-day slavery—kidnapped as child soldiers, sold as sex slaves, and trapped in forced labor—which dehumanizes people and destroys their lives.
Prevention and empowerment provide freedom and restore hope.
Our solution is a holistic model that prevents trafficking and empowers children and women to thrive as change agents in their own lives and communities.

FEATURED STORY
Celebrating 20 Years of Empowerment and Transformation in Warzones
This January, Lift Up the Vulnerable celebrates a monumental milestone — our 20th anniversary. Two decades of empowering and protecting children and women in some of the world’s most devastated warzones. What began in 2005 with a small, dedicated team from Alabama and South Sudan, united by a shared vision to help the most vulnerable children, has blossomed into a global network of over 500 leaders across the US, Kenya, Sudan, and South Sudan.
